Brian Walters is a Connecticut based self-taught sculptor. Walters works extensively in reclaimed materials that he sources while traveling the backroads of New England. “It is about taking something deemed "junk" and giving it another life as an object of interest and curiosity”, he says. These two pieces were made from decommissioned farm equipment from New Preston, CT that was awaiting to be scrapped. “A friend told me about it and I ran up to the farm, discussed with the farmer and after some shrewd negotiations I ended up with a truckload of this amazing material.” – Brian
